In science we have been learning about what different structural adaptations organisms have to help them thrive in their environments. Last week students had the opportunity to use different shaped "bird beaks" to catch food. Students drew conclusions about how different shaped bird beaks allow birds to more easily catch certain foods.
We will continue learning about adaptations over the next several weeks. Students have picked an animal that they would like to learn more about to research and will soon be writing a formal research report over their animal. :)
